We are a family run business, with years of experience in providing a quality service and great technical knowledge.

Richard Calne
Managing Director

Richard set up Calne Vehicle Management in 2000 initially to help vehicle owners monitor their car maintenance and costs, ensuring they were receiving a decent and fair service from their garage.  

As demand grew, so did requests for vehicle sourcing and today CVM sells a full range of vehicles as well as offering a car sourcing service.

Alongside Sales, CVM runs a busy 4 bay workshop Service Department. In addition to CVM Sales and Service, Richard and Rupert have established Cambridge Vehicle Rentals offering a wide range of vehicles to rent.  Prior to CVM, Richard worked for 20 years as After-Sales Manager with Saab, gaining UK Saab Service Professional status.  He is a member of the Institute of the Motor Industry and educated to Technical Engineer status.  Hobbies include tennis, sailing and skiing.

Nadine Calne
Company Secretary

Nadine has been helping Richard from the start of CVM, established in the attic of their first home.  After many years in the travel industry, Nadine gained her office management experience at a local language school and presently deals with all admin matters.  Hobbies include running, tennis and dog-walking.
